Best Audiophile IN WALL (or AGAINST THE WALL) speakers
I have a room that is too short to place the speakers away from the wall.
So I wonder if it is possible to get a very goos sound with the Speakers against the wall, or even more appropriate for my room, with some In-Wall speakers ? what are the best audiophile (in any exists) IN-WALLS speakers ? thanks in advance sincerely bertrand |

JBL SCL2.
https://www.jblsynthesis.com/product...esis-scl2.html A lot like the JBL M2. Revel also makes some in wall and on wall speakers and the Gem2 can be wall mounted. It is an excellent 3 way speaker with a Beryllium tweeter in a wave guide. https://revelspeakers.com/productdet...uct/gem_2.html Last edited by Rex Anderson; 01-28-2018 at 09:37 PM. |

KEF has Reference In Wall speakers that are virtually identical to their The Reference range. Just sans housing. Reference 3 and 5
The B&W CWM8.3D has the same drivers as the 803D3.

I've read great things about the KEF reference in walls as well, many folks have found that they're some of the best they've heard for Dolby Atmos use as well. Not cheap, but nicer than many other inwalls.

I love my Monitor Audio Platinum In-Wall speakers I installed in my Pillars for Side Surrounds. They sound very close to my Platinum 200 speakers upstairs.

You didn't say a budget.
I really like my B&W in-ceiling 7.3, I'd bet the inwall sound as good or better. |

B&W CWM8.3D. Huge backbox in order to sound as much possible as a cabinet speaker. I have heard them in 2 channel mode and they sounds very good - using Trinnov processor and amps in a home cinema.
