Default Can I control (drive) Wilson Sasha 2 speakers with an Esoteric F-03A amplifier?

The conventional wisdom would be no. Currently, I am using a McIntosh C22 preamp and ARC GS150 tube amplifier.

However, Robert Harley in Dec. 2018 TAS states: "A speaker of 88db sensitivity or greater will be a good match for the F-03A."

The Wilson Sasha 2's are rated at 92db sensitivity.

Any thoughts? Ideas? Am I nuts (don't answer that question!)?

The Esoteric F-03A is great sounding pure A solid-state amplifier.

Thank-you in advance for any help you might be able to provide. - Gerry

Types of music you listen to, volume levels, room size? Stereophile review quotes 91 DB sensitivity but notes in measurements section that "the Sasha's plot of impedance magnitude and electrical phase (fig.1) reveals the speaker to be a demanding load for the partnering amplifier to drive."
So if you listen to jazz at moderate levels, probably fine, but if classical at higher levels, I'd be looking for more power.

The Absolute Sound thinks highly of the F-03A. http://www.theabsolutesound.com/arti...lifier/?page=3
Several folks here use 30wpc Class A Accuphase and Luxman integrated amps with great succes on large, difficult to drive speakers. Check out their comments. Generally very positive results. Also, talk to Ivan........ he sells Esoteric and knows the gear well. His input would be useful. Also, ask member 'metaphacts' in the Wilson forum. He would not want you to wrong with a pair of Wilson speakers.
