I also have the Aeon Flow and the Elear to compare.
Have fun and happy listening.
Thanks. I think I can go listen to some Grados and the Oppos at a dealer up in Sasnta Fe. I will have fun--

Since you already have hearing loss, how do you know that you keep them pretty low? [emoji848]

LOL! I suppose I could check the levels by sticking my SPL meter in between them.

My hearing isn't all that bad yet, either. Mainly I have a "notch" in my left ear betwee about 4-6K Hz. Plus the typical high end rolloff. I'm 69, BTW, and I intend to protect my hearing as well as possible.

At 69, now I know why you favor stereo over multi-channel sound. I do too, sometimes. But, I still prefer Dolby Prologic IIx music for most stereo. I also own an Arcam AV9, and I can't stand Dolby Prologic IIx Music on it. Go figure. I'm 63 so we are fundamentally in the same age demographics.

Thanks I will. I also bought an electronic drum kit, and I can listen to Tidal and Roon through the drum sound module, and play along while listening to the headphones. All while my wife sleeps soundly.
