Your setup is very nice, sounds great !

I have made some granite for SF memento : do you think they can be used for SF Evo ?

The SF Evo's base has a specific angle to it; for proper rake.

Jason.......You can see from John Atkinson's frequency response chart how the Evo's might benefit from an active crossover and subwoofers. The low frequency response begins dropping relatively quick once below 40 Hz. An active crossover that routes 70 Hz and below to a pair of subwoofers would free up the mid-bass driver to do what it does best.

Yes, I moved everything around and placed it back in the center of the room. I removed one shelf to make it smaller and also added a new VPI Classic One with Dynavector Karat 17D3 this afternoon.

Thank you for this info. I purchased the EVOs to move away from floor standers as they seem to overpower my room in the bass. I have never given two subs a try, though I have had a single sub a couple of times and basically they drove me nuts. I could never get it to completely disappear - B&W PV-1 and REL R528. Just my experience, but may have to give them another try in the future. My room overall is not really cooperative with really low frequencies.

3 shelf look ... Much improved. Thumbs up. What is the black box on floor next to right side of rack?

Love the look of the black gear set against the walnut speakers and black stands!
