Default Bryston BDP Fuse Upgrade
Hi,

I wish to upgrade the stock fuses of my BDP-2 and I see two of them. One is 500 mA and the other one is 250 mA. Do I need to change both or only one? And if only one, which one?

That depends, do you want the full benefit, of just half?

These are for the power supplies; replace them both.

I was asking because in the BDA-3 DAC, there are two fuses as well but both are 1A, and only one needs to be replaced. I was wondering if it was also the case with the BDP.

I will replace both then, to save 160$ would have been a plus eh.

If you have not already upgraded your sound card, I think this upgrade is better than a fuse upgrade. If you have already upgraded you sound card, then an upgrade to the BDP3 would be a smarter upgrade than the fuse upgrade.

This is in the plans. I got a few others upgrade before making the jump to the BDP-3. Most likely I will send in my BDP-2 directly to Bryston for this.
