Esoteric K-05X reading issues

Hello guys,
A friend of mine buy a brand new, factory sealed, K-05X two months ago and after 100 hours of spinnig discs starts the problems.
In some cd's the "no disc" words are showed in the display and others are played normaly.This don't readed cd's plays perfectly in your former K-07.
In Esoteric USA suggested that maybe is a transport alignment problem caused by bad handling in the mail service but in my oppinion this is very rare.
Someone of you has the same problems?

During the first couple weeks of use of a K03X, I got the same message twice (different CDs). I opened drawer, confirmed CD was properly centered, closed drawer, and they each then played. No error messages since then (months and easily a hundred spins) except for that time I put a CD in upside down (clearly user error but I frankly would've preferred that it not say 'no disc' when there most definitely WAS a disc, but maybe something discrete like 'disc inverted' or 'hey butthead, come back when you know what you're doing'. The Japanese are just too polite.)
