It transforms, alright! An empty hole in your wallet where cash use to reside.

To be fair, I guess, the word "transform" does not appear in the Stereo Times review.

I do use the Hi-Fi tuning fuses, but more out of coincidence than anything else... I purchased my amp as a dealer demo and the fuse had been replaced by the dealer prior to sale. I didn't even know until it blew. I replaced it with a run of the mill fuse, but something was missing. Transformative? No. Noticeable? Yes. I have tried them in other pieces of equipment with no discernible difference.
I wholeheartedly agree with Jeff's statement regarding cables and most tweaks. I generally feel after "free" system and room optimization my money is best spent on primary system equipment (sources, amps, speakers) and I try to find the value sweet-spot in ancillaries.

In spite of what you say . . . Fuses make a night and day difference in my audio system. . .
. . . . . . . . . . . . . At least, when one blows - my system goes from day to night . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Given HIFI TUNING fuses a try. Brightened up the system - not to my taste. I used them in power cord plugs.
