Default Sherbourne ,very little know

I'm surprised at how little own sherbourne's , true audiophile equipment at a great price, I own the pre 1 and the amazing performing pa-250 throwing a whopping 500 watts per channel into my magnepan 1.6's ,highly recommended for those on a budget.

I have a Sherborne 5/1500 which has performed flawlessly for the past 10 years as the main 5 channel amp in our HT. It is now running the rears as a 400 wpc stereo amp, and doing a great job. I think they have had a very limited advertising budget over the years, so not well known. The company was recently purchased by Emotiva.

Indeed, one of the best bang for buck electronics brand. I love the sound at the price offering, and haven't heard any better. Cd-1, Pre-1, pa2-250, with Focals chorus 706v is enough to impress anyone looking at systems at that range.

My first setup consisted of all emotiva and looking at the Sherbourne line they have many similarities in the designs. If they sound like the emotiva electronics they are indeed a great bargain for what you get.

I have the 7/2100A which has performed exceptionally for the last 7 years, no issue, good clean 200 watts per channel, clear sound for 7 separate channels.

Interesting design in this amp; seven mono block, seven toroidal transformer amplifier, will output a massive 2.1 kW, 3 channels bridgeable to 400 watts per channel.

One of the owners of the company (Ron Phone) is an ex-president of McIntosh Labs back in the 1990's I believe.

My pre-amp/processor is a Sherbourn PT-7030.

Set up of this pre designed for a custom installer is not for the faint of heart.

Indeed it does. I spent hours and days in practice to set up the EQ!
