Tube Rolling Time :)
Im looking to do some tube rolling with my Grant Fidelity Reference Tube CD-1000 player....the current tube are EH 6922 and i do love the sound....so im not really looking to get say a "Better Sound",but i wanna play around with getting a diff sound per se.........anyone have any suggestions as to what brand to try....?

There's Sylvania and Philips 6DJ8 that you can try. They seem to be reasonably priced too!

Several weeks ago I acquired an Eastern Electric Minimax CD player that uses 6922/6DJ8 family of tubes in the output stage. I've run Sylvania and Philips Holland and I prefer the Philips. I haven't had much time to be honest and I even experimented with OPAMP rolling which produced the best result. I plan on doing more listening tests over this weekend. Hopefully we can share notes!
