Going AES/EBU out (single) to my D02X provides me with the ulimate in digital quality. I honestly couldn't imagine digital sounding any better, unless I got new speakers.
Aditya.......I agree with you about the Aurender sweet spot being the N10. Granted, the W20 battery powered DC power supply section with battery backup, the clock sync input, and dual AES/EBU outputs push the technical design boundaries. The feature set built into the N10 music server delivers an astonish level of performance with many of the same circuit designs as the W20 including the ultra accurate oven controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) clock and proprietary SPDIF digital output circuitry with its dedicated linear power supply. Like you, I am thrilled with the performance of my Aurender N10.

Also having an N10, hooked up to an MSB analog dac - which has a pretty decent clock - one of the reasons i choose N10 over W20 is that i think those batteries will age after x amount of charge cycles, so i wasn't sure i wanted to risk that. N10 gave me all the connectivity choices i wanted and was less than half the price

Been very very happy with Aurender N10 and MSB Analog dac combo.

I think that having the N10 and a high end DAC makes for a tough-to-beat digital front end.

Call me bold, but I think that the D02X and the N10 would put the dCS Vivaldi 4 stack a run for it's money!

Aditya.......You may be on to something. What I am certain of is the Aurender N10 can be installed in any sound system no matter the value and deliver a remarkable and memorable performance. There is a reason many manufacturers use the Aurender N10 as their source component in audio shows around the world. Yes, it's that good.

Agreed. I just recently got a hold of 1700 DSD albums from a friend that I'll be putting on my N10. Can't wait to listen to all of those with the D02X DAC.
