PS-1220 and PS-520 Outlets
This question is directed at users in the USA. I'm thinking about acquiring one of these units and am concerned about the amount of grip on the AC outlets. I have pretty heavy power cables and I don't want the plugs sagging due to insufficient grip. I understand the outlets are hospital grade, I think Hubbell, but don't know if they are off-the-shelf or made specifically to Accuphase specs. Can someone please post their hands-on experience?

This is my cheap and simple solution.
It grips just average. Still can sag. Nowhere nearly as tight as Oyaide R1 I am thinking about replacing all these sockets to be more audiophile stuffs. Toga Last edited by TOGA; 12-28-2016 at 02:58 AM. |

It was for 2ch system until replaced by PS520. Then it is used in Home Theater parts in the same room feeding processor, BD Player and Projector. Toga |
