The A-30 only has one hard drive therefore unlike the ACS-10 which has two 8 TB HD which mirror each other you would have to plug another hard drive in and manualy do a backup everytime you burn a new cd which for that price is a deal breaker for me. The ACS-10 may be a better option due to the mirroring HD which does the back up automatically. Now that I sold my D1100 I need a new DAC. Top on my list right now is the Esoteric brand.

Something I was not even contemplating is the Roon Nucleus +, which has some interesting abilities it allows you to expand your audio playground to use with all your different systems. The reviews have all been favorable that I have found on the web !
So what do I mean, you can use the Roon Nuc. + to go straight to your DAC in your main system while at the same time it acts as a wireless server for a Sonos system you might have in other rooms in your home or backyard and you can control everything with your iPad. So say you want the different rooms (zones) to all play the same album track you can do it and control each zone on your iPad. . This is very attractive to me as I have Sonos set up in backyard and ceiling speakers in my home and for more critical listening I can use the server hard wired to my DAC . One of the reasons I sold my Aurender N100H was while the conductor app is good at integrating ones libray with tidal it does not suggest new music the way Roon does. When I had Roon on my Mac mini I was always discovering new music, it was a encyclopedia for your music library and I would get sucked into listening sessions for hours as you listen and explore the vast libray you end up in a place you never new existed musically. This does not solve the issue of burning my music however I think I am going to give this Roon nuc + a try and add a internal HD to it. Now I just have to try and find a dealer that sells this device ? Ivan do you ?
