Default Musical Encounters around the world

I thought I would start this thread for those that have encountered interesting musical & HiFi experiences on travel throughout the world....

I'll start with my first encounter with the McIntosh MX121:

Graz, Austria. We found this quaint McIntosh dealer walking the streets of beautiful picturesque Graz.

Robert Czesany was kind enough to seat us in his theatre room where we had the pleasure to listen to a McIntosh MX121 & MC205 rig fronted with B&W 802 Diamonds. The 802's diamond tweeters didn't disappoint with their spacious & detailed treble even with the entry level McIntosh gear. Also checkout the Shunyata. Nice! And he had those coat hanger thingy's in the corners too!

Here I am with Robert Walking the Line, Austrian style!

shall have a read but I'm already thinking it's about a superficial relationship incompatibility issue.

Saying that, I love the design & simplicity of Anders Hermansen's Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 5 that I saw in the Hanoi TTP of all places! Perhaps if I was a single apartment dweller that could only manage plug 'n play, it would do... B&O is an uptown chick thing & is often telling about who wears the boots in a household.

I think I could live in Graz. It is an uptown university city & music shops are everywhere...

Few year's ago I was travelling thru France with my wife and met several people I was exchanging with on a forum.
We had a chance to listen to this exceptional installation near Bordeaux!

Here the smog flaps the red flag with a golden star. Amongst the KAOS of a sea of motorbikes in the face of ping-pong, pussies & bananas around every dank corner...you will find this store where the DONG is not accepted.

I see it now. The socialist's dream.... A pair of German ODEON Horns with a ticket of USD$60K. Let's go inside!
