Well, My geography not being so good as it once was . . . I had to look up Malta - looks like a quaint and lovely place - in spite of Charlie.

I'm trying to convince the friends we are traveling with this fall to make a stop in Malta.
I understand it is pretty much untouched and a beautiful place to visit... |

Some fascinating ruins too which raise more questions about lost ancient civilisation too.
Apparently Charlie is a real tour guide & is well known on Golden Beach! Last edited by MyPal; 05-10-2013 at 01:18 PM. |

I've been in Malta several times as I've business there. Interesting and beautiful place.
But small - in 2 days one gets to see it all. In the summer it gets crowded. Mostly young europeans that go there to mix summer vacations with english lessons.

???????
The beach is in Spain, the actor is from Minnesota and his name is Mel, not Charlie. And it was filmed by a NY ad agency - for Southern Comfort. Still, Malta does have a fascinating history. And the clearest water in the Mediterranean. |

Malta... It is also the birthplace of the Maltese dog breed.
