Since you listed the Fathom, I guess you made a decision?

One of the submersive amps was acting up but even before I got it switched out I was impressed with there performance. I was able to get the same perceived output 1 foot further away from the front wall. So now it is tighter and I can run them hotter in the mix without them drawing attention to themselves. This is just my first impressions after setting them up by ear and then running room correction once then watching star trek 2. I have to dig out the sms1 and run the test tone to find the best placement then run the calibration again.

Since this is a jl thread I will not go into great detail about another product, I will start a new thread for the submersive. Short summery is that the F2 bests the f113 by a little bass wise but the jl is a higher quality piece as far as it has room correction and a low pass filter and phase control and the driver and cab are works of art, very piano like. The submersive is function, a nice cab and a workhorse driver and a passive driver that can take all of the 4000 watts the amp can throw at it.
