FWIW, I will be spending the day tomorrow listening to a full Shindo system at a buddy's place in Tiburon, CA. When I say full, I mean that, everything from power cords, interconnects and speaker cables to preamp, monoblocks, Mr. T, and Shido-modded Altec speakers. Impressions and pics taken with the fab Fuji X-10 to follow...
Looks like on gonna have to start hanging out with you I look forward to your impressions and awesome pictures

Same conclusions, but not written the same way. I like how the reviewer emphasized the difficulty of deconstructing the Shindo sound; attack, transparency, etc., become almost non-sensical terms. Cold and analytical terms that, somehow, feel completely out of place when talking about Shindo.

Here's my homage and review of the Shindo mystique: Rhapsody in Green.

Time has not changed things. Just like a hot shower will always feel great and it's hard to stop, so does every listening session with my McIntosh + Shindo + Tannoy system. It does "the trick" EVERY TIME.

Thank you much Jerome. It was also fun to write. Though I had to struggle a bit to come up with a good analogy - not that the shower analogy is THAT good :-).
