Considering the price on Agon has them priced in comparison to the original retail of $22,000 a pair and current retail is $25,000 a pair.. seems to be priced quite well IMO.

I may need that to penetrate my hearing. OTOH, I found them much more reserved than B&W, Focal, etc.

Are you going to sell your C22 or did you do that already?

Unfortunately, I sold it. My biggest audio blunder by far.

I was quite intrigued by Paul Seydor's review of the C22, and I considered selling/trading in my C2300 to get a C22, mainly due to the loudness control. I decided eventually I preferred the consistent look of the 2300 and my MC501s. Does your C70 lack something, that you miss the C22 so much?

I also note Harry Pearson's quasi-review of the C2300/2301 combo in 2009. He was more than impressed. Both made HP's 2010 Editor's Choice Awards. In purely practical terms, you don't need the 2301s, it's just an audio thing from the look of it. But you've begun selling equipment to finance them. Just be sure you don't mind giving up what you're selling; you don't want a repeat "blunder."

Charles.......Blunder??? .

The distance from Earth to the Moon is about how far from a blunder purchasing a pair of MC2301's would be.

I agree Dan. Jon will have zero regrets selling MC275s to purchase MC2301s.
