It's stuff like this which perpetuates the whole high end audio snobbery thing....I can't imagine an online thread being more important than customer service to someone who purchases a $185,000 luxury product. It's not like a pair of these is by any means a necessity. Man, it's mind boggling to think that the response to something like this is to pout over a thread on this forum. Just take care of the buyer and you won't have to worry, there will be a POSITIVE thread about your service. It's not really rocket science.

A speaker costing over $150k just like a $300k supercar or a $5k suit is pure luxury and not a necessity. So I expect and demand impecable customer service in those cases, they should bend over backward to please me.

Discount airlines can afford to treat their customer poorly. Gulfstream on the other hand, not so much.

Imagine the goodwill that would have been created if Toga reported that Magico sent someone to Bangkok to look at the speaker and fix it. We would have all been impressed and that would have been the story circulating.

And Toga has been a cheerleader for Magico since the beginning. Way to go to bash your fans.

I'm sure the market for $150k speaker is endless ...

I just realized something.

Magico was aware of the thread and thus of the issue by one of their customer. They waited until Toga contacted them instead of anticipating the request and contact directly Toga or the dealer.

Magico is also on AA so they could have responded on the thread instead of asking to be deleted. I highly appreciate when a company decides to talk directly to its customers (GIK, Shunyata, Bryston and others have representative which are active on AA).
