Default My new system

hello everyone,

I am new here and just getting into audio so my first system consists of:

B&W 685 Fronts
B&W 686 Rears
B&W HTM62 Center
B&W ASW610XP Sub

Marantx Sr6007 receiver

Rotel RB 1091 X2 Power amps

Any feed back would be appreciated ... I got a killer deal on these power amps I could not refuse so i bought them to maybe down the road build with them. I know the marantx is weak but it will have to do for now.

I want more of a surround sound system more than audio, I was hoping to get real good clean sound with low end at lower volumes. I have not hooked anything up yet until I move into my new condo on Nov 9th so i am anxious to listen to it. Hope I have cool neighbours ...LOL

Al

That's a great setup you have put together...Are you planning to use the Rotels to power the fronts or?

I paid 1500 plus tax for both in a box, He showed me dealer canadian cost and it showed 1100 each so i figured it was a great deal. I will have pics up soon...

Question, I am using 12 gauge wire, would better cables make a difference? or should i stick with what I have?

The cables you have are fine for now to get you started...then maybe look at new ones once you have a feel for what you have...
