Nice write up Bob. I can only imagine how nice they would have sounded.

I have my gear almost completely wired with either Valhalla or Tyr and I love what the Nor dost loom does.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the Nordost Odin cables--it made for a good read. In the future it would be interesting to read about your further impressions of the Odin's after the new cables arrive and you have lived with them awhile.

Thanks for the great write up Bob! The Odins are indeed superb cables. I have gone with all-Jorma Prime cables in my system. I was just reading some comments from a guy in another forum who has some of the best high end gear in the world. He compared Nordost Odin pc's in his system to Jorma Primes & preferred the Jormas in every situation except phono to transformer, which he surmised could be due the 1.0 mtr length of that cable. Personal preference plays a good part, but given the Primes are half the price of Odin, i'm not complaining

Shane, the Nordost line from Frey upwards is very nice and I too like what I have heard & as mentioned, must go the Odin line for SC’s. One of these days anyways.

David, you’re welcomed. I have heard mention of the Jorma Prime & noticed awhile back your impressive signature but never seen a pair in person nor in a demo setting. They incorporate the Bybee Slipstream Golden Quantum Purifiers of which I am a fan of & prior owner of Jacks products. Would love to try a few pairs of their XLR’s at some point; but for obvious reasons focused on the Odin SC’s at the moment.

I respect Nordost Odin which are superb and fast cables. For me in my system, i've found the Jorma Primes to be a perfect match; very natural sounding and virtually perfect in presentation. I plan on upgrading my Origo biwire sc's early in the New Year to Jorma Prime single wires. The Prime sc's are a big upgrade from Origo, so I can't wait! Let us know how the Odin sc's work out
