Anaconda CX Or Zetron Alpha HC
Which to go for audio research 5SE ?
a good used Anaconda CX or a new Zetron Alpha HC. Used anaconda will be slightly higher priced compared to the new Zetron Alpha HC. Thanks for inputs. SLM |

@soundslikemisic - You could maybe also consider a low mileage Zitron Python if in a similar price region to the Alpha HC.
It has been mentioned before that there could be a little more air with the Zitron Python which would be nice with a Ref5se tho I'm sure there are others who would prefer the Alpha HC. Either of the two Zitron pcs above would probably be a good choice over an unZitron'd CX Anaconda |

You should read the tread "Sigma HC Alternative" Caelin advised me in this tread to get the Zitron Alpha HC above a Python Zitron (on my Audio Research REF 3) and even a used Anaconda Zitron. When you think a Anaconda Zitron is a better version of the King Cobra, you probably get your answer; go for the Alpha HC. Sander. Last edited by sander; 12-05-2014 at 05:59 AM. |
