Any Shunyata 15A Duplex?

Hi there,

I would like to know if Shunyata plans to put to market a duplex similar to the SR-Z1 but in 15A instead. My living room upstairs only has 15A duplexes and I don't plan rewiring everything there.

The rating of the circuit is determined by the in-wall wire rating and the circuit breaker rating, not the outlet. The SR.-Z1 which is technically called a NEMA 5-20R will accept a 15-amp AC plug or a 20-amp AC plug. So, there is no physical incompatibility. Check your local electrical code - they may "require" a 5-15 type receptacle which would prevent a 20-amp AC plug from being used in the outlet.
