Heartfelt condolences. I've enjoyed your posts about Tiger over the years and appreciate your mutual companionship. If you're like me with my audio cat Beemer who passed five years ago, you will always miss your buddy. Down the road you may catch yourself thinking he'll turn the corner any minute now, then find a lump in your throat. Time takes time. Carry him with you in a special place in your heart and he will always be a part of your life.

Terry, I really understand your sorrow. A pet can be an important part of your life. They have the ability to fill a need that no other can provide. I feel your pain.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your companion, Tiger. Having lost a family pet this month, I am feeling for you. I never thought a loss of a pet could be so traumatic, but it was and is. I hope you can find some peace knowing that you both had great lives with each other and that Tiger isn't in pain any longer. Take care, Pete

Everyone that has posted above,

You know it took me days before I could do the post you saw.

I finally thought there are so many people that actually love their own pet-companions I think they would like to hear about tiger's life.

So I did try to spell and use the correct verbage in the post but I realize there are mistakes in it but the meaning is still there.

Tiger was to me I think what a Son or Daughter would be to those that have children.

Cathy and I chose to not have children.

Let me be sure as I ramble on to not forget to say the following to all of you that posted.

I read slowly every post guys and honestly as I read them it brought tears to my eyes once again about tiger.

You are to me a great group of Adults that don't mind sharing your true feelings even if it's about a pet.

Terry.......Thanks for following up with us. I can't speak for everyone but feel confident we all share this loss with you, although certainly not with the intensity of you and Cathy. My personal experiences have shown me time will reduce the trauma but the loss will linger forever. God bless you and Cathy for being loving parents to your amazing Tiger. Perhaps there may be another beautiful Maine Coon kitten in your future, not as a replacement for Tiger, we know that will never happen, but as a new loving edition to your family.

As it stands I'm not going to do it again.

You know they say, never-say-never so I won't but at this point in time I'm not.

As time passes and it will I realize this will get better, hopefully.
