That's a good suggestion, Jeff, though not exactly cheap. I wonder how the Lessloss are terminated and how easy it will be to make the swap.
It's mind boggling to me that those connectors can make such a big difference in sound. Then again, it's mind boggling that power cords make any difference at all. |

How's the Magtech and pre match ups coming? I'm very strongly leaning toward the Sanders after hearing it drive my Snell AIII's with an ARC Ref 5 pre. Muy bueno. Thanks.

I wish Sanders made a 3 or 5 channel amp. I have Martin Logans for the front and center speakers. Actually, a 3-channel would be fine, as my receiver could be used for the rear channels. It's doing a respectable job driving all five speakers, but I'm sure a better front amp would improve the sound.

Fuses?
Have any of you Magtech users experimented with aftermarket fuses in the amp? Just curious.

Drubin,
I put Hifi Supremes in mine and also wa quantum chips on the transformer and small fuse chips on the fuses throughout... and if I bought another I'd do it all over again. Less grain, more fluid and focussed. Found it also responds real well to good power cables... hope its Ok just chucking in an additional 2 cents there G Sent from my iPhone using A.Aficionado |

I am about to try a Magtech in my main system. It's great to hear others' experiences here. I wonder if there are any other words of wisdom since the last post, more than 3 years ago, about getting the best out of this amp?
