Default Cambridge Audio Azur 851E

Anyone running one of these? I am thinking of replacing my Parasound P5 with a new rig....and really like my CXN's sound and quality....and was wondering if anyone has any input on this pre-amp.

Thanks all

Guess not. I am now....and I have to say, it blows the Parasound P5 away in terms of smoothness and warmth. Mates wonderfully with the McIntosh, B&Ws and CXN. I also picked up an Auralic Aries to join the digital party...awesome.

Congratulation on the new gear! I have a love-hate relationship with networked audio. I love it when it works well, and when occasionally it doesn't . . .

I had the 840E, and two 840W amps prior to my Pass gear. It gives the Pass gear a good run for the money, especially at low and moderate listening levels. The Pass shines at high volumes that caused the CA gear to clip.

Best of luck with the Cambridge piece.

My CXC transport stopped working recently (skipping and locking up). It is still under warranty, however retailer (Audio Advisor) could not get me off the phone quick enough and referred me to the Cambridge "Distributor" for US , Audio Plus which I believe is located in France. They have yet to respond to my calls or e-mail.
So this will is my first and last Cambridge purchase and my last from AA as their complete dis-regard for customer service is inexcusable in this day and age.
