Default New Piece for Puma's Collection!

Latest addition to the collection. I just put $10,000 in the bank since Nov 20, selling camera and audio gear that was literally sitting unused around the house, so I took 10% of those proceeds to buy this beauty: the Hanhart Pioneer One Limited Edition. This watch was three years in development between Watchbuys and Hanhart, and is Hanhart's first three-hander. While the case is the traditional Hanhart dimension of 42mm for a flieger, WatchBuys specified a nice, tidy 49.5 mm lug-to-lug, so it would fit a nice range of wrist sizes. The lug width is 22mm and the height including slightly domed crystal is 12mm. The price? A very affordable $1,170. For those of you that are not familiar with this brand, that is a ridiculous value proposition for a Hanhart. Because of their quality of fit, finish, build and execution, if this watch was made and sold by a Swiss manufacture, it would sell for $5000-$6000.

I'm really partial to three-handers as my favorite design, especially when they have no date complication, and I *love* the Hanhart brand. Their fit, finish and quality of execution are absolutely impeccable. I just placed an order for Serial #20 out of 150. So, gang, here is the gorgeous Hanhart Pioneer One Limited Edition. I should get mine around end of December or early Janaury. I realize Hanhart is not everyone's "cuppa", but it sure as hell is mine! Welcome the gang's thoughts...

That’s a nice looking watch! It’s also got a pretty descent engine in it, the Sellita SW200, an (arguably) improved version of the ETA 2824.

Yes, my Sinn 104i is a Sellita movement. It is very reliable and more accurate than most of my ETA 2824 movements. Sellita made some engineering improvements that resulted in a more accurate, reliable, and durable movement. I've got no problems with Sellita movements at all, in fact, I prefer them to ETA.

Very nice, indeed (though I would check that 49.5mm lug width - 29.5, maybe?).
Do the offer something similar with a day/date?

That’s a good-looking watch, a very nice, simple design.

Sorry, my bad, a typo...the lug to lug (end to end) measurement is 49.5 mm. The lug width is 22mm. 12mm height.

No, no day/date.

And I like it that way...personally prefer not to have a date window. I like exceptionally clean dials.
