I still was very impressed with the Classe amps. Totally neutral, fast, balanced and controlled. They have to be one of the best amps around IMO - especially for the money.
Hello Mike.

Although I have not contributed, I have followed your projects with keen interest. You have an incredible system!

How has the Pass worked out with your Strads?

The reason I ask is because I am slowly working up funds to buy a pair of SF and Pass to drive them with.

The Pass xa160.5 amp, ARC REF 10 preamp, Strad combo is wonderful. I can't find fault. The Strads love the current from the pass and they sound better with a fast(er) amp. I absolutely love them with the super super super fast Classe amps as well. I'm likely going to add a pair of REF 250's to the stable sometime next year. But keep the Pass. The Pass do everything right (except stay cool!)

PM me if you need any help or have any questions.

Mike

a 452 puts out an easy 500+ watts of pure clean power too in a single chasis and sounds about as good as my 601s, and will save $$$$
