Just putting in my impressions to the community mix - I've been using my ACS for about a week. This is a truly spectacular addition to the Aurender line up. I was kind of thinking oh this would be great for the additional storage but wasn't expecting anything much from it. I figured my W20 would probably be the best by far and the ACS would be second place and my QNAP NAS 3rd. My intention was to use this actually as a media server for video files. On that front, wow! The video output is remarkably better than running from my QNAP NAS and even markedly better than playing video files from my W20.
Another amazing benefit which I was in complete bafflement over and had no expectation was holy moly the ripped WAVs from this unit sound spectacular - notably better than ripping my library from my custom built audio PC. And way easier than with my PC. I think the ACS is definitely worth considering as both an amazingly good quality video server and for Ripping CDs. |

The audiophilestyle review was excellent. Perfectly described the attributes of the ACS10. I have a renewed interest in this product to pair with my N10 and X100L.

I’m a complete video neophyte, could you explain how one goes about obtaining movies in this format and how you play/display these files. Also glad to hear you feel the ACS does an excellent job of ripping CDs. I have often wondered if I could hear any difference between a ACS10 ripped cd and same cd ripped by my iMac w/ external SuperDrive (XLD ripping app).

I couldn't believe how much better rips sound through the ACS - much better than a purpose built computer I designed and built just for ripping CDs. Last edited by DMelby; 02-14-2019 at 05:44 PM. |

Thinking about buying a N100C and if it's as good as everyone says then getting the ACS10 for its CD ripping and extra storage. I have lots of CDs burned on my various MacBooks and Windows 10 laptops. Question. Is the N100c a full blown streamer. Will the Conductor app on my iPad find MacBooks and allow me stream my CDs? Do I have to have a USB to USB to transfer my CDs to the N100C hard Drive. Or can you do it wirelessly?
Thanks? |

Just now seeing your response. Thanks for the detail. All new concepts to me. I still find it fascinating that the ACS10 rips sound better than your purpose built computer rips. Makes me re-think adding ACS all over again.

Aurender ACS10 reboots in middle of song
My ACS10 has rebooted four times in the last 24 hours while playing a song. Sent a remote request to Aurender but has anyone else experienced the same problem?
I’m on system software version - 1.20.15 and iOS app version - 3.4(95) |
