Default Ronnie Montrose....RIP
Ronnie Montrose passed away yesterday(March 3)at age 64. He had his own band called Montrose and also played with many different artists.

RIP Ronnie.

sammy hager cut his early teeth with him and his band! montrose was a true trail blazer in the west coast rock scenery. rip!

RIP, Ron! Tough to top Ronnie Montrose and Sammy Hagar in the same band. For the folks that have bounced down an old country road in a muscle car at 125 mph, you'll know what I mean. :-)

I've recently been getting (back) into Ronnie Montrose/Montrose. I have almost all his stuff on vinyl.

He was an exceptional musician.

RIP, Ronnie.

Their debut album Montrose is a true hard rock classic ... blazing guitar work!
