Yeah, one of the worst things anyone can go through ... but at least you weren't inside when the break-in occurred. The best of luck to you.

Happened to me after coming home from an overseas trip late 70's and I felt the same way. Had good insurance and wound up with one generation newer Mc gear, new Revox deck etc, so I made out. The key thing is that no one got injured, well let me re-phrase that. They key thing is that you didn't get injured. Don't care much about the thief's health condition................Maybe he got beat up at his next stop.
