OT: That's a gorgeous GSP. Random pic or a dog or breeder you know?

Back on topic: Manley should have its own forum, especially if you can get EveAnna to stop by from time to time.

I sent an open thank you on another forum to EveAnna Manley and she thanked me in return and said quote "Credits also go to my other engineers Jerry and Humberto for getting the clever code working and to Baltazar for his chassis and board layouts."

Very Cool!

I think they make great gear and it's worth every penny. Good American manufacturing and engineering.

Joe...I posted the price increases in response to a thread on the subject on Agon. I had received an email from Acoustic Sounds with all the price increases. Some of the gear had 70-80% price increases. I am not sure what happened to necessitate such price increases but they were substantial. My conjecture was that they were losing money on their hifi gear but probably making money on their pro gear and so without good financial and accounting controls, they may not have been aware that they were losing or barely making money on the hifi side of the business. Very possible but mere conjecture on my part. Whatever the case may be, their products now will be compared to competing products at a higher price point, so hopefully their gear will still be competitive from price/performance perspective. They certainly were before the price increases on Feb 15th I believe it was.

Congrats on your new Stingray and the NeoClassic amps. The NeoClassics look like they can handle pretty much anything Enjoy and let us know what you think of the gear as it continues to break-in.

Hi Cyril,

Thanks for that. I think they NEVER raised any prices on the hi-fi gear and by the time they audited everything, the increases seem outrageous. I still think it's competitive. The Neo 250 and 500 did not take as bad a hit, relatively, and if you compare the competition they still seem pretty reasonable. The nastiness about the price increases was all over the place. They took such a hit on it. Some people can't control themselves. I like the gear and hope they continue to do well.

As do I. I have not heard their gear but would love to. I hope you enjoy yours for a very long time. On a separate note, you had a question in another thread about converting Burmester gear from 240V to 120V. Are you considering another amp or maybe digital source from burmester? Just curious...thx
