What a setup. It shows both passion AND intelligence/knowledge AND a great sense of aesthetics.

One question: did you ever consider integrating the 2 systems: connecting the 2-channel and theater set-ups so that even the movies are heard through your wonderful SF Amati's?
You could then replace the center by a Sonus Faber center to keep the cohesion in your system, and by selling the front three JBL's and the MC452, you would even get (quite) some change...
Bart.......No, I have not considered integrating the two systems. The two channel system is completely optimized for music, and the home theater surround sound system is optimized for 5.1 surround sound. Trust me when I tell you, the JBL LSR series speakers have cohesion. The JBL LSR6332's and the LSR6328P's are from JBL's professional line of speakers. They not only sound fabulous with incredible dynamics, they are capable of producing serious sound pressure levels without breaking a sweat. Playing surround sound SACD's and movie sound tracks with the Oppo BDP-95 delivers a breathtaking and realistic 5.1 surround sound experience.

To answer your question directly, I have no need or reason to want to join the two channel system with the home theater system. Both are truly amazing just as they are.

Rudy.......Thank you very much. The room is dual purpose, but each system is dedicated to its specific task. The best of both worlds.
