Default HRX vs. Classic Series (3-4)

I've always been attracted to the VPI tables for their looks and performance for price. The HRX always struck me as the ultimate VPI table from an aesthetic point of view IMO. Now with the multiple versions of the Classic series, not to mention the new $30k direct-drive table, where does the HRX stand in this hierarchy sonically? Will the HRX be discontinued soon? I currently have a TNT 6 with rim drive and 12.6 arm. It was quite a jump up in performance from my original TNT 3 with the first generation 12" arm.

Thanks in advance for your replies,
-Wilson
