I ran the Double Helix plus version for a couple of years. They are very impressive cables, especially when considering the price. If you are looking for sweet, warm, rich cables, these are NOT for you. They have great extension at both ends of the frequency spectrum, but never sound as thin as Nordost cables. Impressive bass, especially for such skinny wires. They soundstage well too.

Well, I have been using inexpensive Mogami balanced interconnects throughout my system, but recently, I've been listening to various cables. I have changed the interconnect from my DAC to the preamp to an old audioquest Diamond silver interconnect. The improvement was easily apparent. I'm currently using a 6 meter pair of Purist Audio 25th Anniversary interconnects that I have borrowed from a friend. I am absolutely blown away by how these cables allow all the music through. The system sounds more true to life than ever before, with an effortless flow and much increased resolution. Here's a pic of these bad boys connected to my amps...

I just switched out all my cables and holy crap what a difference!!!
Went from using consonance Billie to aq sky for a tonearm cable. Just plugged it in for the first time yesterday. Awesome!
Also switched from signal cable to granite silver 470
And speaker cables went from consonance joplins to granite 570.
What a difference. I've had all the cables since last week but only been adding one pair every few days . Lots of fun that way

I just replaced some $6.5K MIT Magnum G3 speaker cables with the dual Nanotech cables described in this review:

6moons audio reviews: Nanotec Golden Strada SP#79 Special & SR

Sound is more open and focused.

I see they are expensive. What was the total retail?

The Double Helix with Plus was my first speaker cable upgrade over hardware store 12 gauge, and I was impressed. Sound was more open and detailed. Currently, they are in my HT, and I have no complaints or urge to upgrade.

I have a 4 shelf Samson rack with one 4" shelf, and three 2" shelves on order. It should be here around mid-March.

One more item is I have their Micropoint brass footers under all my gear in the two channel system. Those things amaze me by how much better they improve the sound of each component.
