µLINK or Remedy?

Hi everyone, I'm looking to upgrade one digital signal into my McIntosh MDA-1000, and I've come up with two options. First my existing signal flows using Tidal:

A) Macbook pro -> optical in to MDA-1000.
B) Tidal Airplay to Apple TV -> HDMI to Sony TV -> Optical in to MDA-1000
C) Tidal Airplay to Apple TV -> Optical in to MDA-1000

I think A is slightly better than B, but less convenient, and both are better than C by a decent amount. The Apple tv optical out just isn't the greatest. Which leads me to the two W4S options.

1) uLink from MacBook pro USB to coax to MDA-1000
2) Remedy from TV optical or Apple tv in to coax out.

Has anyone used both and preferred one over the other? I see the Remedy is highly regarded.
