Is it COLD outside?

Fortunately, I never was sent north during my service period in the Air Force. I was sent to sunny Homestead, FL instead of sunny Vietnam by the Pentagon. Several of the guys found themselves being sent to Thule Air Base in a place called Tooley, Greenland. That Air Base was a great deterrent to poor choices in behavior. As we speak, the windchill there is only -20 degrees F so you guys have that place beat.

I worked for 33 years at Cavalier AFS; people were known to retire from the Air Force rather than come here.

It's a 27 Degree F high, with 3-5 inches blowing snow here today. And I am looking at a 500 mile commute tomorrow.

Here in Indiana (New Palestine) it's very cold and snowing so hard, looks like night

There is about 5 inches on the ground with more coming. The wind has picked up and the temp is dropping from the current 25F down to 12F.

Paul.......I can send the same Santa Helper I sent to you last year. That should cut your heating bill at least half.
