Ruger2, great looking and am sure sounding system. I like the D1100 digital preamp. It's just the kind of Mac gear I like: decades of stable technology (that you don't have to pay a premium for) such as their volume control and switching plus being on the cutting edge of DAC and SS design. I too like the sound of Mac SS. It's dual mono and fully balanced from input to output and 7,500. One of the truly great values in high end audio: great looks and sound.

Room (mancave): 40’L x 15.5’W A-frame; max ceiling height 8’ min 5’; wall within wall construction built of 2 x 6’s; built over garage with custom hardwood floor with gym seal with over 40 Lowes stiffened wooden I-beams supporting floor; complete isolation from rest of house

Thanks guys for all the accolades, this has been a work in progress for almost a year now. The move will be complete and we will finally be established by June 7. After all the hassle of unloading boxes and hanging pictures I will be able to break in the amps and enjoy everything.
