We'll see. I am expecting a pair to compare to my 802D3 and 804D3.

When I saw the 702S2s in Magnolia, I was impressed with how small they are.

Looks like these new B&W 703s2's are oneof those very rare bargains that doesn't come on market but once every 30 years or so !

Steve Guttenberg (C/NET - Audiophiliac) did a review on the 705 S2. It was somewhat of a mixed results review.

Steve contributes to Stereophile as well and I have found his reviews to be useful.
He really liked the 805D3 last year. Not quite so much with the 705 S2.

Hmmm.

Could these 702s2's be the bargain of a lifetime?

After listening to a pair they could be!

One of the reviews sure thinks they are!

So HYBERBOLE=BS
I have heard the 803d3 & the 804d4 excellant speakers. Very much impressed.
Having the 803diamonds I fine it hard to believe the 700 series could even compare with the diamonds let alone compare to the d3 series...MO.
I'm

I've heard new 800 series and think the 702 s2's are the sweet spot in the whole B&W Line! I thought the review on the 702 s2's was 'spot on' and is a good review on these speakers!

Go listen to the 800 series and then listen to the 702 s2's and see what you think! Don't listen to what a reviewer has to say about them or what I think about them, your own ears is all that matters!
