Seriously : From my Bricasti amp, Antipodes K50 upgrades to the Shunyata Sigma V2s and Altaira CGS to the Esoteric Preamp, everything has been a ‘best’.

Best - TechDAS Air Force One, as it’s an an excellent table.

To date, the best audio purchase I’ve made this year is having Sterling Trayle optimize my system. Fabulous!

I currently have a new to me dCS Rossini Apex in transit to replace my non-Apex Bartok. Next week, I intend to upgrade the Rossini-int amp interconnect from a Transparent Audio Ultra Gen 5 to a Reference Gen 6. My hope is those upgrades make as much sonic difference as Stirling made!

The Merason Frerot DAC and its' external power supply, the Pow1 have been my best purchases this year. It has brought a clarity and naturalness to my system that I have never imagined. My 30 year old Hafler XL600 and Apogee Acoustics Centaurus speakers have never sounded so good.

My new PMC twenty5.24i I acquired in late October this year. Terrific speakers, way better my previous Dynaudio Focus 260 and Totem Mani-2 Signature.

Last week my friend brought over his Hegel H390 amplifier to see what these speakers are capable of... I was floored by how much bass and control this amplifier has over my speakers. My Audio Research DSi200, still a decent amplifier, pales in comparison. The Hegel was an ear openner. I really liked its power, slam and authority. I know what to wish for for 2024 lol. I think I will go for a Bryston 4B3 and a Bryston preamp.

On another note, I was finally able to complete my Kimber Select cable loom with the addition of the KS6063 speaker cables. This was in my wish list of 2023.
