Yes I know, it was a bad career move for Cary Grant, but I am a sucker for these movies LOL from a sweatbox (read Internet café)in Jakarta,

If ever I happen upon Dirty Harry I have to stay and watch it . . . it's the combo of Eastwood, Don Seigel and 70's period SF that gets me every time. It used to be on british TV every bank holiday but it was only when I saw it on the big screen in the 80s that I finally 'got it'.
I'm a sucker for Bullitt and The Thomas Crown Affair (McQueen/Dunawaye version natch) too.

Ya can't go wrong with any of the flics that John Wayne was acting and John Ford was directing. Yellow Ribbon, Searchers, Quiet Man, Horse Soldiers, Liberty Valance, and How The West Was Won were among those.
Arsenic and Old Lace is also a fav. Poor Cary Grant, his aunts are homicidal maniacs, and insanity runs in his family. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is simply a classic. I've lost count of how many times I've watched that film.
