My C1100 is stacked with Stillpoint mini's between the units. I just liked the look that way but side by side is fine also.

The C1100 manual states on page 7 -- do not stack the C1100T on top of the C1100C.
I used HRS isolation feet to give it another 1.5 inches and called it a day. Just sayin' Best Sirs, Bob

Moving up from the C2500 - opinions?
 Which is why they show the units stacked in their marketing collateral. I’m confused, but that’s not unusual.

What I can say for sure is that the control unit makes very little heat.

Moving up from the C2500 - opinions?
Stacked is the way to go, if you have the shelf space.....it just looks right. I’m fairly certain the manual is an error. Betcha they meant to say “do not stack the C1100C on top of the C1100T”. It’s the only conclusion that is logical. When the top of the C1100T has very little air space, like an overhead shelf or C1100C, the T gets really really hot.
