Very simple really. Sumiko often pairs REL with Sonus faber. Sumiko have been the North American distributor for both since the early 90s.

RELs are meant to work below the mains, not to replace the woofer

STC... Yes, I own them both; separate systems. The Strads are terrific sounding speakers, but the Aida's are in another league altogether.

I have not heard this spk before as it is not available in my country. I will be the 1st owner of Aida speaker in my country.

By the way, I will drive this speaker with ARC pre and power amps.

Since both ARC and SF fall under Fine Sounds the products are often shown together. You should be very happy with the pairing. One of they key points of the Aida is the ability to adjust those rear firing drivers to get the sound you are looking for.

I hope your distributer has been well trained in setting up these speakers. I makes a world of difference.
