Vienna Acoustics Beethoven Concert Grand fronts
Vienna Acoustics Maestro Grand center Vienna Acoustics Waltz Grand rear REL R-505 sub Sony STR-DA7100ES multichannel amp Sony DVP-NS9100ES universal player The two Sony's are hooked up via a single i.Link cable. The source player transmits the raw DSD stream to the amp; the DSD stream is sync'ed by the clock on the amp side for virtual elimination of jitter. The amp is capable of handing the native DSD signal without having to go through DSD/PCM or D/A conversion until the very last amplification stage (typical amps do this several times before reaches amplification). The result? Simply breathtaking |

T-3G,
Those Elipsa's sure are pretty....makes my Auditors seem tiny. If I ever get a big listening room, Elipsa will be near the top of my "must audition" list. j3

T-3G -----Congrats on your 2d MC275 -- adding a 2d one really makes a big difference all across the board. I thoroughly enjoyed my dual MC275 setup.
I believe you need to update your picture(s).

JONERVI,
Thanks How does your Elipsa sound with MC501's? They produce quite different sonics compared to MC275's. I've A/B'ed MC402 and MC275 but not MC501. MC402 was better at low frequencies, it had more definition and fist. MC275 was better at high/mid frequencies, it just sounds natural. Wonder how MC501 sounds like compared to the two. |
