Default Help deciding which Aurender to get

Hello All
I’ve had a pause in my audio world to experience playing the drums in 2019. It’s been a great to actively playing to my favorite music as opposed to “just” listening. I’m on the cusp of checking off my bucket list item of being a paid professional drummer at gigs.

Back to the post. I’m trying to decide what product would be best to connect to my Esoteric KO3X with USB. I was considering the N100C or N100h. But I see there’s a asc100. I like the idea of a cd ripper on that. I hate to think I need to re-rip all my files that I’ve done through DBPoweramp.

I currently use a homemade Linux system my son built for me using Jriver

I’m hoping to improve the sonics with a stand alone system from Aurender.

Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks, Pete

Pete.......In my opinion the Aurender N10 is the sweet spot for price and performance. If you can find one preowned the price can be even more attractive. I own the Aurender N100H and the N10. Love them both but the N10 takes the blue ribbon.

You may find my Aurender N10 Caching Music Server Review interesting and helpful.

Dan
Thanks for your advice. I read all 15 pages of your excellent review. I actually found that I have a reply posted in there! I’ve been curious about Aurender that long!
Do you know if Spotify Connect is available with the update?
I may start the hunt for a lightly used N10

I do wonder how the Asc100 compares sonically though.

I meant the ACS10. I could not edit for some reason.

Thanks!
