Yes indeed, thank you. A lot of these lamps look mostly yellow, but some have a bit of green as this on does. And post #20 is all green.
I think that my first avatar here was a pic of the first lamp posted. I think there are two more small lamps to post of this era. As you can see, they all came from the same site. Maybe tomorrow I can find pics of 2 or 3 interesting ones from the 50's & 60's that I have.

This one is sitting on a shelf in the Salamander rack. The back can't be seen there, but it looks the same as the front. It's on the same dimmer as the floor lamps in the area. Fogot to mention that the last one is on top of the salamander rack.
EDIT: 3/18/17 Just noticed that "rack lamp" didn't make it until post #46 below. #13 (1).jpg #13 (3).jpg #13 (4).JPG #13 (6).jpg #13 (7).JPG

These matching lamps are the last ones I bought, about 5 months ago. I have them about 2 ft apart on top of a small bookcase. More bent glass.

Something just occured to me. (Was going to say the following might be of more interest to more people, but who knows?)
I could post my knife collection in a similar way in the "Show us your knife collection" thread. I've been meaning to take pics of my collection, but I think I'd die of old age before I could take pictures of the quality of the sellers of the knives and lamps above. My records of the knives on this computer aren't as nicely organized as those of the lamps. Some might also be on an old computer. Maybe I can get it together in a few days. I have two knives that were shown in knife books and one that was used in a Jean-Claude Van Damme movie. I posted a few knives some time ago. Not sure if any of those were.

Here is a pair of lamps listed as Eames era lamps. As you can see, the socket stem is oddly long. I can't imagine that it was originally that way; who wants the glare of a bare bulb? Maybe someone had it dimmed, but still...As it turned out, I left it that way and put flicker bulbs in each one. Looks great. I have flicker bulbs in several table lamps with translucent glass shades, two of them on the floor one next to each speaker- none in the old lamps in the previous posts.

Well... in post #42 I said: "I forgot to mention that the last lamp, above, from Austria, is on top of the 5' tall rack."
That must have been confusing because the little Austrian lamp was never uploaded to #41. I must have never clicked on "Submit Reply". Actually, in looking for pics of another lamp to post, I ran across a couple of that little Austrian lamp that I took on the rack. I'll add those here along with what I thought I had already posted, picture-wise. I remember originally writing that at circa 1895-1910, this lamp is one of the oldest I have. #10 (1).jpg #10 (2).JPG #10 (9).JPG #10 (3).JPG #10 (5).JPG #10 (7).JPG P1040441 - Copy - Copy.jpg P1040442- Copy - Copy.jpg

Terry.......It's John's thread so he has the freedom to take it in any direction he wishes. In post #6 John stirred into his collection of antique lamps for us to admire. What a fabulous collection.

Dan and Pompero, I haven't figured out how to reference 2 qoutes in one post. ( If that's even possible ) Looking back to post 6 just now, I realized that there was a word missing in the green-colored Edit text. It's now there in bold green. That sentence makes sense now. Kinda important as to why I took this post in this direction.
