Sooooo much better to reveal the beauty of the equipment -- heck that's part of it, isn't it. Very nice set up & I like the amp stands & component stand too.
Best Sir, Bob

The Sound Room
This is still a work in progress, but so far have been having A LOT of fun designing and selecting the equipment for my new 2 channel Sound Room. As you can see, the heart and soul of the system is all Mac gear
This all started innocently enough upon the idea of building a dedicated room and "man cave" for my 2 channel system to showcase my first piece of Mcintosh kit, which was the MC-352 amplifier. As you can see, things escalated from there in the pursuit of audiophile nirvana... You know you've done a pretty good job when you play one of your favorite recordings and you get goosebumps during certain passages of the song. Happy to meet everyone on this forum, and to learn, exchange thoughts and share perspectives anytime.

Audioguru ... are you simultaneously running the ML and Wilson speakers? 2301 driving the stats and 601 driving Sabrina or vice versa?

Hey j3brow...I am currently doing a bit of a shoot out, basically running them as two separate systems. The Summit X are being driven by the 2301s and the Sabrina's are being driven by the 601s. The Summit X/2301 combo is all wired with the "higher end" Nordost Tyr 2 sc and ic's, while the Sabrina/601 combo is wired using exclusively "budget friendly" Blue Jeans cables. It has been fascinating and a great learning experience to compare and contrast the sonic performance of each respective combo. Bear in mind this is very informal, and I have no agenda to push either way, but my preliminary conclusions are that it is hard to beat the utterly liquid, natural, and transparent sound coming out of the Summit X/2301 combo. Although what I love about the Sabrina/601 combo, is that it gives you a certain weight and additional punch to the instruments (drums in particular) that you just don't get (or rather is not as apparent) with the electrostatics. Bottom line: To my ears, I love both combinations for various reasons, and I am just having some fun experimenting with each.

Some recent changes to my Stereo System - now running BiAmp; 601's on bass and 75's on high through MEN 220 Crossover. Very satisfied with the changes - Clarity and dynamic ease at its best!

Awesome Andrew -- very nice & pleasing. Great job Sir.
Richard -- that's a big room -- and great for those Strads. Nicely done as well Sir. I could sit in that chair all day (but I'd have flashbacks of the infamous crotch photo -- Yikes). Best to all & thanks for the pics. Bob
