Salamander Talia seating

Anybody have any experience with this brand of theater/listening room seating? I like the looks and a 3 seat couch fits nicely in my listening space. Just one couch in room, no space for elevated 2nd row seating. The couch was comfortable enough in the Magnolia showroom. Any owners here? Custom seating is rather expensive I don't want to blow it on the wrong company. I don't have any personal experience with Salamander as a company. Thanks.

Jason.......My experience with Salamander is limited to my Synergy component rack I use for the living room sound system. It is a quality product and has stood the test of time and suits my requirements.

The Salamander three section theater couch looks very nice in the provided photo. I think if you find it comfortable, the materials and craftsmanship meet your standards, and the price seems in line with the quality, it will most likely please you to own it. Until I saw your post I wasn't aware Salamander made seating products.

I see from looking at their website that the seating products a all manufactured by hand in the USA and come with a full lifetime warranty. They are also configurable with a wide choice of designs, materials, and options. The seating looks impressive.

I cannot speak to their furniture but my Salamander audio racks are of excellent quality and have stood the test of time with heavy loads.

It was news to me when the salesman at Magnolia Best Buy said the couch in their theater room was made by Salamander. I too thought they just made racks. I imagine their couch will serve me well .... It's kinda funny. We have some nice furniture in our house but I have never spent this amount on a couch before. All things designed by audio companies come with a tax for those afflicted with this hobby. It's actually the Mrs that fell in love with this couch. It fits the look of a media/theater room with every seat capable of reclining with arm rests and cup holders. Very attractive seating lines offered by Salamander. Still waiting on premium leather swatch to arrive in mail before final order is placed. 3 week lead time for delivery.

Haven't worked out final pricing. I can tell you that Salamander's website allows you to build a customized seating and will keep a running tab on the cost of every addition. 3 seat couch with arms will run $10-12k give or take depending on which leather is picked. Of course, my wife likes the most expensive color scheme. She picked Castle Gate with Cashmere leather piping which pushes the price to 12k. All chairs recline. I will choose manual recline. Electric becomes a pain getting power to back center of my room.

While we are at it .... Here is a sneak peek at my media storage wall. I moved in my CDs last weekend. Vinyl is up next for bottom rows. Cabinet/shelving is 10 foot floor to ceiling.

I'm very happy with the carpenter who built it custom for me.
