A "new RF Trap (developed for AudioQuest’s Niagara Series of power products)". The Carbon packs use a "more better" RF trap:

Yes. I've been having new Carbon packs put on my cables as I get them reterminated by AQ.

Yes. I've been having new Carbon packs put on my cables as I get them reterminated by AQ. Mostly because some of my old packs were getting rough looking. These new ones should hold up much better over time.

I can now report a significant improvement in my bass. Recall that I roll my Thor off 18 db per octave at 30 Hz. I run my Alex full range. I think of all the improvements of the Alexx over the Maxx3, the bass is the is the most surprising. I always thought it would be difficult if not impossible to improve on Maxx3 bass. Not so. I noticed immediately that the Alexx woofers were significantly more rugged and at the same time much more controlled/articulate. Now with the addition of these Well Signature cables my bass has gone to the next level. I don't know how much longer I can resist adding Mac1.25KW's to the mix. I understand the new Mac amps with their larger power supplies provide even more bass power and control than the 1.2KW's if that were possible. I know the difference the 1.25 (replacing my 601) made to my sub-woofer system was enormous.
