Just now received the final MC2301 amp stand drawings. They go into production immediately. Bob did a great job and I think this works for having two MC2301s on each stand. Nice job!

They both have a lot going on with all the kind things they do in the community. There is no such thing as an audio rack crisis. I AM happy to wait knowing they are doing good for others. Worth the wait. I believe today they will begin building the two 2amp stand and I will be sending the other stands back.

I'm glad I took the time and effort to understand.
Good to hear !

Dan...I truly do not know. I have been patient and understanding and I hate to say this, sigh. Bob may perhaps be flakey. Even if true, there is no such thing as an audio rack/amp crisis. I have a plan B.

You could take the feet off and use the HRS nimbus system... Ivan sells them and it would offer sonic improvement

I believe things happen for a reason and welcome the natural course of things. You can not squeeze blood out of a turnip, right; yes?

The amp stand that I do have were incorrectly designed. But there is a solution.

I am working with and iron man, that not only created some of the doors of my California home, but is creating my steel doors for my Home on Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

This guy has a masters in art and as a hobby, in addition to his family business creates art. So no, not just a boring steel door.

We've been in discussion and looked at many racks, HRS and Sound Anchors.

We are going to replicate some elements of many racks. Here's the deal. Custom to every design whim. Sand filled... Etc.

Also, custom coloured.

Here's a shot of one a door accessing one of my courtyards. Notice the branch details. I drew this concept up in Photoshop and Illustrator.

Boom!

Custom Rack coming right up!

Today, I received my custom MC2301 Amp Stands. They are rock solid!

Each of the two stands weigh in approximately 155 pounds and hold two MC2301s each. From what I understand, the frame is filled with some sand like substance to eliminate vibration and all that funky stuff, and makes them a bit heavier.

Next, a new audio rack for my C1000 and other gear.

Interesting... So it did take him a few months to deliver them. But in the end, you were happy. I think more than a few of us had this experience with sound anchors.
