I did the DIY "Flexy" rack with MDF shelves painted black, 1 inch rods and nuts (found a local "bolt and nut" company here that cut the rods, and got the nuts/washers, and rubber gaskets)

Just moved, and am awaiting a Solid Tech Radius 5 rack with a separate amp stand for the new room.

Default Load limit for Audio Magic Hepta

I have just found some nice Audio Magic Hepta racks which I will pick up next Saturday. Does anybody know the upper weight limit for these racks and the associated shelves?

I get two M - S 20's for my amps (McIntosh MC425 and Rotel RMB-1095) and two M-O 28's for the remaining gear. Will the 110 pound MC425 cause any problems?

Solved it myself - it easily carries my 235 pound carcass

Wilson Benesch have released a new modular rack called the R1, think it maybe very expensive but has a nice industrial design and being a WB will be engineered very well....

Reviving an old thread....I also have an Arcici suspense rack. You don't see many. Mine is the reference model with 2 floating shelves coupled with 3 ceramic balls for a total of 8 acrylic shelves.

I am not using it currently as it is on the side wall and I am using shorter interconnects. The only thing I don't like about the stand is the height. Too tall to put in between speakers.

Nice thread but most of the pics are no longer visible.

Hari009 any chance of uploading some pics of your DYI rack?
